Parkwood Group sits at the intersection of energy efficiency innovation and the markets that need it most — connecting technology companies with proven solutions to data centers, mission-critical facilities, and municipalities that are actively looking for a better path forward.

Parkwood Group is a specialized advisory and go-to-market firm operating at the center of the energy efficiency market. We work on both sides of the transaction: with technology companies that have developed proven innovations and need a credible, connected path to complex end markets — and with operators of power-constrained facilities who need a trusted advisor to help them evaluate, procure, and finance the right solutions.

We are not a technology distributor. We are not a general consulting firm. We are a firm that has made a deliberate choice to develop deep expertise in a specific intersection of market: energy efficiency technology, power-constrained end markets, and the financing that allows the right projects to actually get built.

Our Primary Role: Taking Innovation to Market

The core of Parkwood Group's work is go-to-market advisory for energy efficiency technology companies. We partner with manufacturers and innovators whose solutions address the power challenges facing data centers, mission-critical facilities, and municipal infrastructure — and we provide the market access, institutional relationships, and sector knowledge they need to reach the right buyers, in the right sequence, with the right message.

Energy efficiency technology rarely fails because the product does not work. It fails because navigating complex, high-compliance procurement environments requires a depth of relationship and institutional knowledge that most technology companies cannot build quickly enough on their own. That is the gap we fill.

We work with a selective portfolio of technology partners. We are not a broad distribution channel. We choose partners whose innovations are differentiated, whose performance is documented, and whose solutions align to what the end markets we serve are actually looking for. That selectivity is what allows us to represent each partner with credibility.

Our practice is built on three foundations:

  1. Relationships: We have cultivated direct, trusted relationships with decision-makers at data centers, municipal utilities, government facilities, and mission-critical operations across our markets. These relationships are not cold — they are built on years of demonstrated knowledge, honest engagement, and an understanding of what buyers in these environments actually need. When an operator is looking for a solution, we are already in the room.

  2. Market Intelligence: Our team brings practical expertise in energy systems, power quality, and the operational and procurement dynamics of the markets we serve. We understand the compliance environment for government facilities. We understand the financial pressures facing municipal utilities. We understand the uptime requirements that govern technology decisions at data centers. That sector knowledge is what allows us to move quickly, speak credibly, and represent our technology partners with authority.

  3. Capital Access: Parkwood Group is building a domestic finance capability designed for the specific financing challenges of our end markets — particularly municipalities, where budget constraints and procurement complexity are most acute. We work with financing structures that align to public procurement requirements and allow communities to deploy proven technology today rather than waiting for funding that may be years away. As this capability grows, it defines a new kind of partner: one that can advise, implement, and fund at the same table.

Where We Are Going

The long-term direction of Parkwood Group is toward a merchant banking model that spans energy efficiency advisory, go-to-market services, and direct capital deployment — with particular depth in the municipal market. This is not a distant ambition. It is the logical extension of what we are already building: market relationships, technology credibility, and financing capability that together create a firm unlike any other operating in this space.

We are building something that does not currently exist: a firm that can sit alongside a technology company from early market entry all the way through scaled deployment — and alongside a municipal client from infrastructure planning through financing, implementation, and long-term performance. A firm that earns trust not transaction by transaction, but across the lifecycle of an energy efficiency program.

Code of Conduct

Every member of the Parkwood Group team operates under our Code of Conduct — a commitment to ethics, transparency, and doing the right thing, particularly when it would be easier not to. In markets built on long-term institutional trust, that standard is not optional. It is who we are.

We welcome partnerships with technology innovators, municipal clients, and capital partners who share it.
